My "Thanks for the Memories Blog Hop" contribution:

For this guy:
This is Ayden. He had a rough start. He is the reason I do whatever I have to do to make sure his life goes as smoothly as humanly possible from now on. So every spacer I have to make (and clean!) is for this guy's future. And believe me, most days I need a reminder why I make these little buggers:)
Have I told you that I come from a long line of crafty/creative people? This is bracelet is also about them. See the vintage crystal at the end of this bracelet? (sorry about the crappy photos....no light today!)
That is a nod to all the people that have come before me. My grandmothers, my mother....I would like to think they are proud of me, and my business. So a tiny reminder to carry on. Even when it gets tough.

30 people have something to say:
I love your bracelet - it's so fun! Gorgeous work.
Love the bracelet, Jodie. Love your beads, and I am extremely glad that you make those darn spacer beads.
Love the color and agree that spacers are really, simply, a pain to deal with. Not so much the making, but the clean up. At least you have a great reason to make them! And the piece is a color riot.
Lovely bright colours and great to hear the inspiration behind this.
Love the bracelet Jodie! Very pretty and all my favorite colors! Nice picture of Ayden! He sure is growing up fast!
Sometimes all it takes is a gentle reminder of why we do what we do...and you have an amazing reason for what you do!!! I love the bracelet you created
Thank you:)
Someone has to keep you in beads, right? :)
Thanks. I wore the bracelet all day today...and thought of all the reasons I do what I do.
Thank you!
I do loves me some colors!
He is getting big...and so smart! He reminds me of my oldest son so much.

Your bracelet is a lovely tribute. Now I know where to get my spacers!
lovely bracelet and spacers Jodie! What a handsome young son you have! Wonderful inspiration!
They may be a pain to make, but I LOVE your bright, happy spacer beads! And that beautiful boy...what better reason to keep on keepin' on?
What a handsome little guy and inspiring post. Gorgeous colors! One of the nicest things about these hops is finding new (to me) artists. Had fun looking around your Etsy shop (and just had to pick up some of those gorgeous colors for myself!)
Love the guy.... :0) And the bracelet too! :0))
