A tricycle for $3.00, and a slide for $1.00 He's happy. Don't worry--he does get plenty of new things too:)
I scored this vintage basket full of crochet thread and finished pieces. For $1.00. Yes, One dollar: If I get these earring/pendant sets finished, they will be featured at tomorrow's Piedmont Farmer's Market. They will be lovely--come see for yourself if you don't believe me:)I'll be there from 8:00 until Noon.

I'm also supposed to be working on this macrame neckpiece:
but instead I have been reading and knitting. Shame, shame on me.
On another note--I will have to move the date of the Studio Workshop this month, due my the untimely demise of my kiln. I'll post pics of the project along with a date when I know for sure I'll be able to make the beads for the project.

Pattern is found here, if you're interested in knitting along with me :)
I'm also re-working this neckpiece:
Everyone that tried it on previously thought it too heavy. So it went on a weight loss program today, and is now near perfect, I think!
