I received my new cabachon mandrels in the mail on Saturday--It's been an intensive learning experience ever since. Here's one of the finished projects:
From the top--
And a side-view:

It's about 1-1/2 inches across. I think it's pretty cool and different; cone-shaped instead of the usual flat stone shape. I'll be making more as soon as my daughter's graduation /18th birthday celebration is over. No torching until next week :(

I finally managed to get this kit by Jan Zicarelli finished: I love the end result but the instructions left me a bit bewildered. The back is lovely as well--she does a very unique brick stitch manadala base for the flower petals. Anyway--its done :) Well, almost. I still have to decide if I would like to wear it as a pin or a pendant. Maybe both?

I also got three right-angle-weave bracelets done while my garage sale was going on:
These have big bling for a little price. My next show isn't until July, so these just might make it to Etsy if I can find a minute to list them!

Flower buds--fresh from the kiln!

I made this cute pair of earrings out of one pair:

The practice & singles buds have been listed on Etsy for an incredible price if you're interested!

My new toy:
My friend Tanya helped pick her out. She doesn't have a name yet, but something will come to me, I'm sure :)

And the very first sewing project was completed today--a lovely basket of strawberries:

It's been another long week! The Artitudes show was last weekend, and this weekend is the UNI Art Show in Lincoln. Busy, busy!! Anyway--here's just one of the new pieces I've been working on:
