New pictures of the baby today--a little blurry since I was taking the pic with one hand--Ayden has the other: He's off the respirater and on a C-pap machine now--hopefully for only a couple of days.

And on the way home for the hospital I spied a yard sale--look at the cute little shelf I got for $3.00! I decked it out with a glittered pennant and my button box and jars full of trinkets:

It might get a little more decoration, but I'll decide later!

He is very handsome! Everybody at Bead Society sends their best thoughts and wishes your way.

I am so sure you went garage sale-ing without me. I am going back to that store for those keys tomorrow. I am going to look for that other shelf too! ;}

I have some big news for you...you will have to call me sometime when you are awake. I am not quite ready to post it, but will when the timing is right.

I didn't know that they made cpap machines that small! It is awesome that he is doing so well, will keep the prayers coming, and thanks to God for the miracles of medicine and doctors!

I love the blue jars! I found some great colors of glitter at JoAnne's and they are cute little tubes that look great in a big old jar.I have moved around some shelves in my house and swaped out a dark brown one in my studio for a white one. which brightens up the area and looks better with some of my jars out on them. I am going to go garage sale-ing today and hopefully stop at "that store" and see if they still have that jar of keys. Talk to you later!

Jodie - Congrats to you and your family on the birth of Ayden. I just want to offer you hope and encouragement. I had a little baby born 3 months prematurely 19 years ago. He weighed 3lbs 6oz and was 19 inches long. In those days that was considered big. I'm sure that technology has improved tremendously and that your grandson will benefit from it all. My son stayed in NICU for 5 weeks. He just finished his first year of college, but I'll never forget those days, they are just like yesterday. Sending hugs, Susan

Thanks so much for the encouraging words, Susan. We're all very happy he's here, even if he decided he wanted to make an early appearance!

What I've always said about my son, Jason, is that he just couldn't wait to come out and enjoy life. And that's the way he's always been, full of energy, his own distinct personality (which I can see in Ayden already), an adventurer, and he has a great big laugh that lights up everyone around him.
